VAISHNAVI KOOSUL

Vaishnavi is a 22-year-old, final semester student in Taylor’s University, pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture. She was born on the 21th September 1997 in Mauritius, a small but beautiful island in the Indian Ocean. From a young age, she had developed a passion for design and thus entered this field by taking Design and Technology as a main subject in Cambridge A-levels. After finishing high school, she considered Malaysia as an option to further her studies as she always had an interest in discovering new places and cultures. Throughout her degree in Malaysia, she has developed excellent drawing and design software skills, as well as leadership and analytical skills from her part-time job as a student Ambassador for the university. Creative and organized, she has a good sense of spatial logic, design implementation and also an eye for quality. During her degree, she had the opportunity to intern at different design firms. Firstly, she did an internship of 2 months at International Designed Design Associates in Mont Kiara where she learned the basics of working as an interior designer. Then, she was also given the chance to work as an interior design intern for 4 months at Visio Architecture, one of the leading Architecture firms in her home country, Mauritius where she developed her skills further.
