The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Interactive Multimedia Design delivers 120 / 121 / 122 / 123 credits units with 12 units for Industrial Training. Students of this programme study multiple forms of information content and information processing e.g. typography, audio, graphics, animation, video, interactivity) to inform or engage the (user) audience in a digital environment. They will explore a wide range of Interactive Multimedia Design applications and have the freedom to choose an area of speciality in the final year of the programme. An understanding of the impact of cultural dimensions and aesthetic sensitivities on design practice is a key feature of the programme and is considered as important as the understanding of the technical aspects. The duration for completion of studies is 3 years.
